Tim Crouch, PhD, Licensed PsychologistTim Crouch, PhD, Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Tim Crouch obtained his B.A. from Yale University in 1977, then completed an M.A. (1985) and Ph.D. (1988) in Clinical Psychology at The University of Colorado. In addition to doing outpatient psychotherapy in both public and private settings, his experience includes 15 years of inpatient hospital work. He has provided service to people with a variety of conditions including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and alcohol and drug problems.

Dr. Crouch has practiced with Canyon Behavioral Health since 2003. As a psychotherapist, his work is based in Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) approaches, enriched by his early training in psychodynamic psychotherapy as well as more recent developments such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness-based therapies.

Regardless of therapeutic approach, Dr. Crouch understands that every client brings to therapy his or her own unique personality, history, problems and stresses, health issues, values, and strengths. Dr. Crouch believes that these, combined with a client's personal treatment goals, are the foundation of that respectful collaboration between therapist and client called psychotherapy.
